Doti divinatorie del NYT?

Sto, per caso, rileggendo un articolo del NYT ( 6 Aprile 2006) su Giuliano Ferrara ( The Atheist Urging Italy to Get Religious) e mi imbatto nella frase seguente "(If an Italian politician had been caught with a prostitute, a leading magazine wrote recently apropos of Eliot Spitzer, there would have been bipartisan calls for a new law against wiretapping, rather than insistence he step down). Beninteso che la frase non era riferita a Ferrara, mi chiedo se il NYT abbia delle doti divinatorie che abbiano letto nelle recenti vicende italiane " prostitutes" " law against wiretappang", sounds familiar?
